Kathryn Dougherty

General Partner

“Tell me I can't, then watch me!”

There's nothing you can't do when you believe it in your heart and soul, and no one exemplifies that more completely and consistently than Kathryn. An exceptionally talented, insanely articulate, absolutely unstoppable force with the ability to break through glass ceilings and knock down brick walls, Kathryn has spent her entire career becoming the type of role model she always wished she'd had: one who creates her own path, leads with empathy and intelligence, and plays by the rules by changing them.

She loves the word "reshape" nearly as much as she loves the word "believe" and in her work as a General Partner for Waterston Capital, she brings both to play as often as possible. As someone with a lifelong affinity for healthcare and finance, she knows to her core that Waterston is on track to become a $1B organization that is a real, driving force in a  healthier  future for humanity.  The opportunity, as she sees it, is for Waterston to reshape the entire MedTech industry so the industry can change the world.
