Lindsey Carr

If Lindsey Carr is going to do something, she’s going to do it right. And, in hindsight, all the things she did right in the past led her directly into her job as Director of Investor Relations for Waterston. Incredibly motivated, task driven and structured, she knew as early as high school that she wanted to do something that would change the world and, by building relationships with the people who invest in and help build Waterston, she’s fulfilling that goal.
Lindsey’s early career took her to Key Bank in Cleveland, where she started as an intern in Strategic Planning, later moving to KeyBank Capital Markets in Institutional Equities. After several years in Cleveland, she moved to New York where she continued her career in Institutional Equity Sales covering Mutual and Hedge Fund managers in both New York and Chicago. She always loved the work but occasionally questioned whether her job was helping people in the impactful way she had always hoped she would.
As so often happens, life made Lindsey’s next decision for her. Both her father and father-in-law fell ill, and she and husband decided to move back to Ohio with their two young daughters to be closer to family. It felt like the right time to follow her heart, so Lindsey made the bold decision to immerse herself in the world of health and fitness, teaching classes and coaching people to live healthier lives. She also continued her work with investors, broadening her experience to include Investor Relations and Capital Raising in Alternative Investments/Private Equity.
When Waterston Capital recruited Lindsey to be their Director of Investor Relations, she jumped at the opportunity, knowing she had finally found the balance she had been craving : to combine her passions for both finance and health with a job that would ultimately help improve people’s lives.
