Zane Olmstead
Sourcing and Sales Coordinator
“It’s deeply fulfilling to know that the work we do helps save lives and push meaningful progress forward where it truly matters”
Zane Olmstead is very good at seeing the big picture. While a student at Denison University, he pursued a liberal arts degree in global commerce—liberal arts because he valued the versatility, global commerce because it delivers a big-picture understanding of global connections that transcend basic business. He was also an NCAA Division I college quarterback—a job that calls for strong leadership and wide-ranging responsibilities including reading defense, calling plays, and directing the offense. And, when he’s not pursuing his passions for skate- and snowboarding, he coaches high school quarterbacks at Binghamton High School in New York. Zane has always known he wanted to work with people, build relationships, and find an organization where he could contribute in a meaningful way from day one. That and his long-time interest in healthcare made him ideal fit Waterston and vice versa.
As our Sourcing and Sales Coordinator, Zane brings his versatile skill set to work in a number of ways. His role spans both Phase I Sourcing and Phase III Selling, where he does research, helps develop business models and market strategies, supports portfolio management and performance tracking through dashboard reporting, works with our due diligence team, and helps manage the sales pipeline.
